| Goddamn, I slack.
What's going on? Nothing really. Work, work, work. I'm having to be in the office now at 9AM, so I've greatly cut back on the weekday partying, which I'm finding is making me more reticent to be out and about even on the weekends. Could be good, could be bad, could be the fucking weather. Which mostly, I love. I'd prefer to be bundled up to hot and uncomfortable. Though, they do have a propensity in my office to keep it at a frigid temperature which is not copasetic with typing. I don't quite get it.
I didn't do shit over xmas. I did get one of those neat standing fountains from my mother, but that's it. I find that as I get older I'm entirely apathetic about the holidays in general and just don't care for the mentalities that tie into it. I spent xmas eve getting hammered with friends, which was fantastic, and xmas day in bed reading, and chatting with friends. New years should be fun, no matter what I decide to do. Though I suspect I'll end up in Bremerton at Matt's parents cabin - but I'm unsure. I don't really want to drive all the way up there, much less am I thrilled about the concept of staying at someone elses place for any amount of time. I don't know what it is with me and that timid phobia, but I suspect it traces back to my being mildly OCD, and knowing what I like, and how I like it. Uncertainty will be the fucking death of me.
Music has been going good, though we're still on the bassplayer hunt. It turns out this is a more tedious task than I really expected it to be. The holidays of course have accentuated this and made it more difficult to schedule anything. However after recording, a break isn't a terrible thing. The new songs sound fucking amazing, and I'm awaiting the masters (which I need to get off my ass and pickup). I'm anxious for more people to hear them, if you're interested I'm sure we can figure something out.
Anyhow, I'm at work, I suppose I should focus on being productive.

| studio is bueno my good friends, though I forgot what a complete and total bitch it is to play with a click track after a long time of not doing so - goddamn computers always being right and shit.
i had a run in with mr. caffiene today - which I normally don't go near, but for some reason a nice cup of coffee seemed like a brilliant idea. The results were diasterous, never has anyone in the history of the world rushed beats like I did today. The solution you say? Much stretching, and pounding a couple cold ones, and I was back on. amount of you have yet to be out to one of our shows. Take it from me
you're missin out! The last show at the Tonic Lounge was the best show
I've played in my life, and I think the boys would echo that
sentiment. It'd be really cool to see some of you turn up for this
